Chesterton Middle School hosted their 52nd annual Veterans Day program for the community recently. At the event, the school presented a check over $1000 from a school fundraiser to benefit the Folds of Honor Foundation, an organization that provides educational scholarships for children and spouses of military service men and women killed or disabled while serving our great nation. Guest speaker Wil Davis spoke to students and the community about his service to our country. He also impressed upon the students the importance of being prepared and open to all possibilities for their future. The program also included patriotic music from the choir, orchestra and band and honoring veterans in our community.
