The 132nd annual Chesterton High School commencement exercises will be hosted on Wednesday, June 1 at 7:00 p.m. at the CHS Football Stadium (June 2 in case of inclement weather).

Student Government officers are Celia Faroh, Student Government President; Chad Berdine, Vice President of Student Affairs; Helen Jackson, Treasurer; and Senior WHIP, Sofia Portugal. 

Senior class senators are Madelin Billings, Molly Hadenfelt, Natalie Nunez, Jude Mochen, Ellery Brunt, and Joshua Lemon.

 

Teacher Mr. Michael Livovich will present the Commencement Address.

The class song: “22”, by Taylor Swift

 

The class motto: “So much hassle for the ‘22 tassel”

 

Other events of the day include...Presentation of honor students by Brent Martinson, principal; awarding of the diplomas by Dr. Chip Pettit, superintendent of schools; Robert McDermott, assistant superintendent, and the officers and members of the DSC Board of Trustees; and the traditional turning of the tassels and closing by Celia Faroh, Student Government president.

 

White admission tickets are required for early admission at commencement.  The Stadium will have early admittance beginning from 5:30 p.m.- 6 p.m  Open admission will begin after 6 p.m.  Each senior has been issued eight white tickets for their parents and relatives. 

 

Special tickets are required for those guests who are physically unable to climb the bleachers. Students may exchange two regular tickets for two handicap tickets in the Main Office at CHS. Special handicapped parking is available. It is recommended that seniors and those with mobility limitations be dropped off while other family members park the vehicle elsewhere.
