WELCOME TO DUNELAND SCHOOL CORPORATION
KINDERGARTEN ENROLLMENT IS NOW OPEN!


If you were unable to attend Kindergarten Round Up in February, you may still enroll your student for kindergarten.  If your student will be five (5) years old on or before August 1, 2026, continue to Step 1.

STEP 1 - Create a Skyward student account (Should be done FIRST)​​​​​ ​​​

  • New DSC Families: click here to create account (be sure to complete all required screens)
  • Returning DSC Families: click here to complete information (be sure to complete all required screens) 
                                               *Computers will be available at each school, if needed.

 

STEP 2 - Complete required forms & bring hard copies to your meeting at the school.

STEP 3 -  CONTACT your child’s respective school to schedule a time to visit the school and turn in necessary paperwork. * Most school offices are open Monday-Friday 8:00 am-3:00 pm. 

Please bring the following items to scheduled meeting at the school:

  • All completed forms from Step 2

  • Copy of child’s official birth certificate

  • Copy of child’s current immunization record

  • Copy of custody documents or divorce decrees, if applicabl

  • Copy of IEP or 504, if applicable

  • Proof of residency: Mortgage statement or lease agreement or two of the following documents with a current date and address; pay stub, utility bill, bank statement, vehicle registration, voter registration,  or Indiana issued driver’s license

*  If you are unsure which school your child will attend, please review the district enrollment boundaries or contact Duneland School Corporation Transportation Department at 219-983-3615. *

 
STEP 4 - IMPORTANT:  Complete registration in July 2026.
During Duneland’s Online Registration period in July, you are required to sign back into your Skyward Parent Access account to complete your incoming kindergarten student’s registration

STEP 5 - Attend All-School Open House and Kindergarten Parent Information Night

Watch Duneland School Corporation's website and your child’s school for details.  

*Kindergarten Parent Information Night will be held after school starts and determined by each building.*
