Duneland Child Nutrition

Free Summer SUN Student Meals served Monday through
Friday from June 10-28 and July 8-26

The Duneland Child Nutrition Department will again be serving free healthy meals to children and teens. The summer program is a federally-funded, state-administered program that reimburses program operators.

All students receiving lunch on Fridays will also receive an additional bag of items to take home for the weekend as part of the "Backpack Snack Program". This program is being provided through a joint effort between DSC Child Nutrition, the Porter County Health Department and the NWI Food Bank to ensure that no child goes hungry when meals are not available at school.

ALL children 18 and under are welcome to participate.

Community Breakfast and Lunch will be served in the CHS Cafeteria (enter through Door #20). Meals must be eaten on site (indoor seating provided). Elementary age children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Breakfast will be served Monday-Friday from 8-8:30 a.m. at Chesterton High School

Lunch will be served from Monday-Friday from 11:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. at Chesterton High School

Menus will be available on NutriSlice
