    • Wednesday, December 16th at LIBERTY INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL from 5:00-6:45pm

    Virtual Call Out Meeting will be Wednesday, December 2nd  @ 315p. For any 8th grade girl interested in trying out, please join the group Remend for information. Any questions please contact Coach Ramian at jramian@duneland.k12.in.us

    Q2 Reading Challenge: Don't forget about this quarter's reading challenge,it runs through December 18th, there is still plenty of time to participate! Students need to read 3 books from 3 different genres. Go to the CMS Library webpage to sign-up or click HERE

    Book Checkout during Remote Learning: You can still check out physical books! 

    1. Go to the Media Center webpage
    2. Click on the Destiny Card Catalog
    3. Login with your School Google Login information
    4. Place your books on Hold
    5. We will pull your books and contact you when they are ready to picked up at the main office. 
    6. All Books may be returned to the cart located at the Main Office at anytime! 

    **Don't forget about our eBooks and audio books found in your Sora and Jr. Library Guild apps. Click HERE to watch a quick video on how to log into both of these apps.

    ATHLETICS PROTOCOL:

    Due to the drastic increase in Covid-19 cases in Porter County and the county being placed into the RED classification, the Porter County Health Department has implemented the following measures for K-12 athletic events to help slow the spread:

    • There will be no concessions.
    • No food or drinks will be allowed for spectators in the gym
    • Events will be limited to participants, required personnel, and parents/guardians/siblings only.
    • Parents/Guardians will be required to sign in at the event.
    • Masks are required at all times.
    • Social distancing between groups of spectators is required at all times.

    LIBRARY NEWS
    Q2 Reading Challenge has begun and runs through December 18th. Students need to read 3 books from 3 different genres. Scan the QR Code on the posters in the hall, go to the media center webpage or stop in the media center to sign-up. 
    Please be sure to return any books that you may have that are overdue. Also, remember that if you are a remote student you may put books on hold through Destiny and we will check them out to you and leave them at the main office front desk for you to pick-up and/or return. Keep reading!

    -Events will be limited to participants, required personnel, and parents/guardians only.
