Long-Term Capital Improvements

In 2021, the Duneland School Corporation began planning for large-scale capital improvements across the district. Construction began in 2022 and was completed in December 2024 rendering all K-8 schools with updated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing infrastructure and safety and security enhancements that provide a modern learning environment for students.

• New construction at Yost Elementary School
• Renovations at four elementary schools - Bailly, Brummitt, Jackson, Liberty
• Renovations and new additions at two intermediate/middle schools - Liberty and Westchester

With construction completed, all K-8 schools now have updated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing infrastructure and safety and security enhancements that provide a modern learning environment for students.
