He earned a B. A. from Valparaiso U.,
And a Masters from Indiana and Purdue...
But despite three degrees,
And many A's and B's,
Chesterton’s schools taught him most of what he knew.

So to Duneland he returned for his career,
Teaching English and Library for years...
He taught Special Ed., too,
Was dean in 2022,
As well as a coach, sponsor, and volunteer.

For fun, he enjoys hiking and biking,
And the buzzing of drumming and beekeeping…
But cool classic cars,
And dark chocolate bars,
Are other interests he finds to be engaging.
