Mr. Arizzi

Mr. Arizzi has taught in the Duneland School Corporation for eighteen years– six of those years as the WIS Band Director! During his time in the DSC, he has been involved with all levels of band programming, from teaching sixth grade beginning band to the CHS Trojan Guard Marching Band. He has also taught middle school jazz band, pep band, and high school orchestra. As a trombone player, Mr. Arizzi received his Bachelor of Music Education Degree from Indiana University and his Master of Music Education Degree from Vandercook College of Music. 

Mr. Arizzi enjoys performing, composing, and arranging music. Mr. Grenier

Mr. Grenier has been a music educator in area schools for twenty years, and most recently, he has been at the helm of Duneland orchestra for four years.  As the high school orchestra director, Mr. Grenier directs the Chesterton Symphony, Madrigal Strings, and the Pit Orchestra for the musicals.  At WIS Mr. Grenier directs the 5th and 6th grade orchestras.

Mr. Grenier earned his Bachelor of Music Education degree from Indiana State University in 1999 and his Masters in Music Education from Vandercook College of Music in 2006.   As a trombone player, Mr. Grenier has performed in many area ensembles including the German Band Inc.

Ms. Hart

Ms. Hart earned her Bachelor's degree in Visual Art Education from Indiana University and her Master's degree in Curriculum and Design from Olivet Nazarene University. She started teaching Art at WIS in 2022. Prior to that, she was a Visual Arts 6th-8th grade teacher at Fegely Middle School in Portage for the last 15 years. She has also coached and sponsored volleyball, girls basketball, cross-country, art club and junior national honor society.  

In her spare time, Ms. Hart enjoys spending time with her 8 year old son and 5 year old daughter, running, working out, creating art, going to the beach, traveling and gardening.

Mrs. Malott

Mrs. Malott earned her Bachelor's degree in Violin Performance and her Master's degree in Elementary
Education from Valparaiso University. She started teaching music at WIS in 2021. Prior to that, she was a fourth grade teacher, and she has also taught violin and piano lessons for many years.

In her spare time, Mrs. Malott enjoys hiking in the dunes with her dog, playing music, traveling, kayaking, and gardening.

Mrs. Wilson

Mrs. Wilson earned her Bachelor's degree in Physical Education with a Minor in Health from Valparaiso University.  She also earned two Master's degrees in Educational Technology from Ball State University and Full Sail University. She has taught fifth and sixth grade physical education in the Duneland Schools since 2003, with the majority of her years at WIS.   

Mrs. Wilson and her husband have three daughters who attend Duneland Schools.  She also coaches All-Star Cheer at The Courts in Valpo.   In her spare time she enjoys reading, hiking, working on puzzles, and hanging out with family and friends.
