After graduating from Chesterton High School I attended Valparaiso University where I studied elementary and special education. After graduating with my teaching degree I moved to Upstate New York where my husband was stationed. Both of us being Chesterton natives decided to move back to the area closer to family.  We have one little boy who is 10 months old, 1 dog and 1 cat. I am very excited to begin my first year of teaching special education as a teacher here at Bailly. When I’m not at school I enjoy baking, reading, and spending time with family.

I graduated from Indiana University Northwest in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. This is a dual licensing program so I hold both a license in k-6 elementary education and special education. When not at school I enjoy spending time with my family. We like participating in outdoor activities such as hiking.
