After graduating from Purdue University, I accepted my first teaching job for the School Town of Munster. I had the privilege to teach high ability students in 3rd-5th grade for 8 years and then 5th grade for 2 years. Now that I have joined the Bailly family, I have the privilege to work with 4th graders everyday. I enjoy baking, reading, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.

Welcome to 4th Grade! I was a teacher on the beautiful island of Grenada for 9 years before I moved to the United States.  In Grenada, I taught grade 2-6th. I worked as a Title I teaching assistant and an instructional assistant at another school district before getting my teaching credentials to teach in the U.S. from Western Governors University Indiana. I went on to receive my masters at WGU and now I am currently working on my doctorate at Indiana Wesleyan University. I was currently teaching 4th, then a 3rd, now I am teaching 4th  grade here at Bailly. I enjoy football, soccer, biking, cooking, animals (cats), and baking. I love to travel and see new things.

While working towards my Masters in Teaching degree at Northeastern Illinois University, I was an assistant 1st and 2nd grade teacher for four years at an elementary school in Chicago.  After earning my Masters, I taught 2nd grade at Waters Elementary School in Chicago before moving back to Indiana with my husband and young son to be closer to family. I taught 6th grade language arts and math for four years in Munster, IN before moving to Chesterton and joining the Bailly team. In my spare time, I love listening to music, photography, baking, and doing things outside with my family. Now that I live in Chesterton, I have become really interested in bird watching and wildlife photography. My family and I really love the Dunes and enjoy hiking the trails and spending time at Lake Michigan whenever we can.
