• This is a reminder that CMS will be hosting the student item pick-up/ item return this week. We invite students on the following dates from noon- 3pm and 4-7 pm:

     

    Monday, July 13th- 8th graders with the last names beginning with A-L

    Tuesday, July 14th- 8th graders with the last names beginning with M-Z

    Wednesday, July 15th- 7th graders with the last names beginning with A-K

    Thursday, July 16th- 7th graders with the last names beginning with L-Z

     

    Students will need to enter the building at Entrance 2, the auditorium entrance. Students will be limited to one parent/ guardian to enter the building with them. Students and adults are expected to adhere to social distancing guidelines and are encouraged to wear masks. 

    All students will need to clean out their lockers, including PE locker, so the lockers can be cleaned and reassigned for the 2020- 2021 school year. Returning students will NOT have the same locker. Once students have completed cleaning out their locker, students should report to the East Gym to turn in any textbooks and library books, and pick up their yearbook, if they ordered one. There will be a limited number of yearbooks available for purchase of $40. 8th grade students and students who received awards from the media center should also pick up those items in the East gym. Students will have 30 minutes to complete this process and are asked to exit through the same entrance (entrance 2) that they came in. 

     

    The previous communication relayed that outgoing 8th grade students who are participating in summer school would need to return their iPad during this event, to clarify, it is ONLY 8th grade students who are participating in summer school with the high school. If your 8th graders is doing CMS enrichment summer school, please keep your device for now. Outgoing 8th grade students who are participating in summer school PE with CHS need to bring their iPad in the case with the keyboard, along with the charging block and cord to their designated return date to swap it out for their new device. 

     

    If you are not able to make your scheduled pick up date, please contact Mr. Okeley via email at mokeley@duneland.k12.in.us to make alternate arrangements. Any items that are left after pick up days have been completed and arrangements have not been made for, will be disposed of.
