Q. What is P.A.C.E. and who is involved?
- It is a committee of volunteers - teachers, administrators, custodians, bus drivers, secretaries, parents and community members - whose objective is to create a dialogue aimed at improving communication and eduation in Duneland.
Q. What are they doing?
- The committee was responsible for the opening day activities in 2000 and 2001.
Q. Opening day 2000 was different, but did it really change anything?
- In addition to bringing all employees into the process, the breakout groups made it clear that all employees needed time. This led to workshops examining how we use or don't use time effectively and to a three-year plan for effective time management.
Q. What is the difference between PACE and the Professional Development Team?
- The Professional Development Team is an outgrowth of P.A.C.E. Its primary objective is to communicate and coordinate staff development opportunities. Its goals can be found on the Professional Development page.
